Visit the Place
Our wines are good no matter where you drink them. But there is something special about enjoying them at the source — Ribbon Ridge Vineyard. But don’t expect the million-dollar tasting room with fine furnishings and imported tile floors. Visiting us is rustic and real. Then so are our wines. There isn’t a better way to discover what we’re about than to visit us.
In an effort to ensure the health, safety and well-being of our guests, staff, family and community, we have made some modifications to the normal Ribbon Ridge Vineyard visitor experience. While we understand it won’t be the same as you may have enjoyed on prior visits, your health and safety is paramount to us, so we hope you will join us in doing all we can to help nip this coronavirus in the bud. The modifications are based on COVID-19 Best Practices in the workplace as well as recommendations on Phase 1 and Phase 2 Reopening by the Oregon Governor’s office and the Guidelines for Wine Tasting Room Operations published by the Oregon Wine Industry Task Force.
We are not currently open for our regular wine tastings. However, we do plan to be open for tasting by appointment only Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving Weekend, November 27 and 28 from 12-4 PM. Beginning Labor Day Weekend 2021 we will be re-open Saturdays from 12-4 by appointment only. We will be offering limited tasting flights, wines by the glass or bottle and wood-fired pizza. Appointments allow us to space out visitors to ensure appropriate social distancing can be maintained. Please make appointments by emailing email@example.com or by calling us.
In accordance with state-mandated Covid-19 mitigation measures, face coverings are required except when seated. We have disposable masks available upon request. In addition, we are limiting groups to parties of six or fewer. For more details on what to expect during your visit, visit our Covid-19 page.
We appreciate your patience, cooperation and consideration. We look forward to welcoming you to Ribbon Ridge Vineyard soon.
Stay safe and continue to drink Pinot (especially from RRV).
How to Visit Us
Note: We are not currently open for tastings but will be open Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving Weekend, November 27 and 28 by appointment only. To request an appointment, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We don’t have an official tasting room yet, but we do hold events in the vineyard, where guests can enjoy the view, taste our wines, and eat food the both of us prepare.
The best way to hear about events at the vineyard or other events where you can taste our wines is by joining our mailing list. That way you’ll be the first to know if we’re open for tastings and if we’re offering special accompaniments such Robin’s wood-fired pizza or something from the smoker or the wood-fired grill. We also host wine dinners or fund-raising events from time to time where we get to pull out all the stops. You can usually find out about our events on our Facebook page, facebook.com/ribbonridge. or on Instagram @ribbonridgevineyard.
Typically we’ll be open for the traditional wine-tasting weekends around Thanksgiving and Memorial Day. In addition, we usually have the wood-fired oven going on Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day and invite you to join us for tasting and wood-fired pizza.
