Visit the Place
Our wines are good no matter where you drink them. But there is something special about enjoying them at the source — Ribbon Ridge Vineyard. But don’t expect the million-dollar tasting room with fine furnishings and imported tile floors. Visiting us is rustic and real. Then so are our wines. There isn’t a better way to discover what we’re about than to visit us.
How to Visit Us
We are open by appointment only Saturday and and most Sundays throughout the summer and into the fall. To request an appointment, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We don’t have an official tasting room, but we do have a tasting pavilion at the vineyard where guests can enjoy the view, taste our wines and eat food the both of us prepare.
The best way to hear about events at the vineyard or other events where you can taste our wines is by joining our mailing list. That way you’ll be the first to know if we’re offering something special in addition to Robin’s wood-fired pizza or something from the smoker or the wood-fired grill. You can usually find out about our events on our Facebook page, facebook.com/ribbonridge. or on Instagram @ribbonridgevineyard.
We will be open and have the wood-fired oven going on Saturdays and most Sundays beginning at least until. Labor Day and as far into the fall as weather permits. We hope to see you at the vineyard for some fresh air, great wines and wood-fired pizza.

Ribbon Ridge Vineyard is on North Valley Road between Newberg and Gaston, about 35 miles southwest of Portland.
Take Highway 99 W southwest to Newberg. Near the west end of Newberg, turn right on North Main, following the signs to Highway 240 and Chehalem Valley. After a few blocks, veer left following the main road (SR 240 N. Chehalem Drive).
Continue on SR 240 N. Chehalem Drive five miles to Ribbon Ridge Road. Turn right to cross Chehalem Valley.
After you cross the valley, turn left and stay on the paved road, North Valley Road. (Ribbon Ridge Road continues straight and is unpaved — don’t take it.)
Continue approximately 2 miles on North Valley Road from the intersection with Ribbon Ridge Road. The road to the vineyard is at 14741 NE North Valley Road, 1 mile past Camp Tilikum and Patricia Green Cellars. Turn right on Pihl Built road , just past the old barn that is being renovated into a new winery. Look for the green Pihl Built road street sign, “Bryce” on the mailbox and our sandwich-board sign.
Turn right on Pihl Built road and stay left on the main road at the first fork. Follow the RRV signs or yellow arrows on the main road up the hill past a vineyard on the left until you reach another fork in the road. At the fork, bear right and through the gate to Ribbon Ridge Vineyard. Continue through the vineyard, then turn left and you will see the parking area and the tasting pavilion a short walk further.
